Earthen Texture: Bathroom Remodel (In Progress)

When approaching the design for the remodel of two mirrored restrooms for the family’s two children and a guest bath, our goal was to update and refine while keeping as functional a footprint as possible. The project takes on an inviting, warm palette and layers of matte and sheen textures to add dimension and interest within the neutral composition. At the center, a double walnut vanity toped with a warm quartz, is flanked by integrated LED lighting and oil-rubbed bronze fixtures. The walls are finished in limewash paint, while the shower area features smooth tadelakt plaster. A recessed shelf, minimal sconces, and thoughtfully concealed storage enhance the space’s functionality while maintaining an overall softness. This concept highlights a commitment to material richness, and subtle tonal variation.

High-traffic areas can still be thoughtfully designed without sacrificing style.
